The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 158bhp of peak power and 253Nm of maximum torque and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT. Meanwhile, the diesel engine produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Alcazar comes equipped with a range of features, including:
- six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, TPMS, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and hill start assist control.
- Additionally, it features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology, as well as a digital instrument panel.
While these changes are incremental, we also get a price increase of ₹65000 in the base manual variant as well as a ₹10000 difference between the automatic variants compared to the older model.
The base model of the Alcazar is the Prestige Executive Diesel, which is priced at ₹16.71 lakh, and the top model is the Hyundai Alcazar Signature Dual Tone Diesel AT, which is priced at ₹21.10 lakh.
A petrol version is also available, with the top model priced at ₹20.25 lakh. The automatic version of the Alcazar starts at ₹18.18 lakh.

The old petrol variant, which is equipped with a 2.0-litre MPi engine, has a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.5 kmpl for the 6-speed manual transmission and 14.2 kmpl for the 6-speed automatic transmission.
As of now, we do not know the ARAI and user-reported mileage of the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and its variants.
